Honouring the Past, Celebrating the Future Together
Imagine the joy and inspiration of a Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony shared by a child alongside a parent or grandparent who never had the chance to celebrate this milestone! Often, parents and especially grandparents missed their own Bar or Bat Mitzvah for various reasons, but now they have the chance to celebrate this “rite of passage” together with their child or grandchild.
This special option allows those who may have missed their own Bar or Bat Mitzvah the joy of chanting Torah and celebrating this sacred rite of passage with loved ones. Like the Passover Seder, this tradition provides each generation with a way to enrich the moment, honouring our value of “L’dor Va’dor”: from generation to generation.
