Throughout the vaccination rollout in Ontario, UJA’s Vaccination Registration Assistance program has continued to help community members who are eligible to register but who may have difficulty using or accessing technology.
With the help of almost 400 volunteers who generously gave of their time, our team has made over 2,600 phone calls, assisting hundreds of community members. As eligibility criteria continue to expand, UJA Genesis is working to reach out to each new group, ensuring they are aware they can receive the vaccine and helping with registration if needed.
Through these calls, our team is also able to check in on isolated community members, identify needs, and connect people with social service agencies, food relief, and other assistance.
