As we say goodbye to 2021, we thought we would share with you the list of Jewish community members named to the Order of Canada at the end of 2021, from the Canadian Jewish News. See:

One of the many notable winners is Holocaust survivor  Max Eisen who was recognized for  “his contributions to Holocaust education, and for his promotion of transformational dialogue on human rights, tolerance and respect.”  

Max Eisen has spoken at Habonim a number of times - see:  https://youtu.be/INAUzHSp4oM and is involved with many local Holocaust education organizations, including the Neuberger Holocaust Centre, the Simon Wiesenthal Centre and March of the Living.
