Cheryl’s Leadership and Legacy at Habonim
Cheryl served on Habonim’s Board of Directors for six years, from 2017 to 2023, and led as President for three years, from 2020 to 2023.
She stepped into the presidency just as Covid reshaped our world, keeping Habonim’s community vibrant even when our doors were closed. Cheryl guided us into a modern era, helping bring our congregation into its beautiful new home.
Throughout every challenge, Cheryl brought humour, patience, and a steady hand. She embodied Habonim’s volunteer spirit and the value of tikkun olam. Her dedication leaves a powerful and enduring legacy for our community.
